Tsinandali 2018 — Georgian White Wine
Dry and delicate, from Kakheti's most celebrated white wine appellation
GEORGIA · Kakheti · 700 ml 13% vol.
What it is
Tsinandali is a protected designation of origin (PDO) dry white wine from the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia — one of the world's oldest continuous wine-producing areas. Named after the historic estate of poet and nobleman Prince Alexander Chavchavadze in the village of Tsinandali, this wine has been crafted to a consistent standard since the 19th century.
The 2018 vintage is a classic expression: a blend of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grapes grown in the Alazani Valley, where mineral-rich alluvial soils and a warm continental climate produce crisp, aromatic whites with a clean, lingering finish.
Ingredients
Grapes (Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane), sulphur dioxide.
