What it is
Ulmaņlaiku Kvass is a traditional Latvian kvass crafted by Cēsu Alus, one of Latvia’s oldest and most respected breweries, located in the historic town of Cēsis. The name Ulmaņlaiku — the times of Ulmanis — evokes Latvia’s interwar era and the wholesome, unpretentious tastes of that period.
Made from rye and barley malt wort concentrate, this kvass delivers a malty, lightly tart character with a subtle sweetness. At 0.5% ABV, it is a low-alcohol traditional drink — refreshing and distinctively Baltic.
