What it is
Kvass is the fermented bread drink that has quenched thirst across Eastern Europe for centuries. Gubernija's version is brewed in Siauliai, Lithuania, from specially baked and toasted dark rye bread, giving the drink its characteristic deep colour, gentle tang, and faintly caramel depth.
This is the only kvass in Lithuania to carry the national quality certificate. It is produced entirely without preservatives or artificial colourings: just water, rye, and a clean fermentation.
Ingredients
Water, sugar, rye bread crumbs 2.4% (roasted rye malt, rye flour), acidity regulator: citric acid.
