What they are
Individually-wrapped squares of soufflé — a porous, almost mousse-light centre with the warm, caramel-cream taste of топлёное молоко (baked milk, slowly simmered until it turns the colour of pale tea and develops a soft, custardy aroma). The soufflé is enrobed in dark chocolate that snaps cleanly under the teeth.
Made in Moscow by RotFront, part of the historic United Confectioners group. Each sweet is wrapped twice — once in foil, once in a bright paper sleeve — keeping the soufflé pillowy and the chocolate glossy.
