What it is
A glazed chocolate assortment from Rot Front, one of Moscow's oldest confectionery factories. The pack holds two varieties: airy nougat — whipped to a light, yielding texture and studded with chopped peanuts — and soft grilyazh, a tender nut caramel with a gentle chew. Each piece is coated in a thin chocolate glaze.
Grilyazh (from the French grillage) is a traditional confection with deep roots in Russian sweets-making — caramelised nuts bound in a melt-in-the-mouth base, here made soft rather than crunchy for an easier bite.
