What it is
Rakovye Shejki, which translates as crayfish necks, are firm caramel sweets shaped like the curved tail of a crayfish, filled with a smooth chocolate-almond praline. Wrapped in their signature red-and-gold twist wrappers, they have been part of the Russian confectionery landscape since the Soviet era.
Made by RotFront (United Confectioners, Moscow), one of Russia's oldest and most recognised confectionery manufacturers.
