What it is
Valmiermuiža Pilsner is the flagship pale lager from Latvia's celebrated Valmiermuiža Brewery, founded in 1764. It took the Master Brewer three years and fifteen carefully refined batches to arrive at this recipe — a sparkling golden lager brewed unpasteurised for full, natural flavour.
Classic pale lager malts are joined by Vienna malt for gently sweet notes of nuts and almonds. Especially aromatic German hops are used during both boiling and whirlpooling, giving the beer its distinctive character. In the glass: golden and sparkling with a white foam head, honeyed malt on the palate, refreshing hints of peppermint and citrus, and a malty caramel finish.
