Khvanchkara Red Wine — Askaneli Brothers
Georgia's most celebrated semi-sweet red
GEORGIA · ASKANELI BROTHERS · 750 ml · 12% Alc.
What it is
Khvanchkara is one of Georgia's most celebrated wines, produced from Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli grapes grown in the mountain vineyards of Racha-Lechkhumi. Its semi-sweetness is entirely natural — residual sugars from the grapes, with no sugar added — which gives the wine a depth and complexity rare in its style.
Deep ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of wild cherry, blackcurrant, and raspberry, followed by soft tannins and a long, warming finish. Askaneli Brothers is a Georgian winery producing wines to international standards while preserving the authentic character of each appellation.
