Kindzmarauli Semi-Sweet Red Wine — Askaneli Brothers, 0.75L
Georgia's most celebrated protected appellation — deep ruby Saperavi, naturally sweet
GEORGIA · ASKANELI BROTHERS · 0.75L / 12.5% ABV
What it is
Kindzmarauli is one of Georgia's most treasured wines — a semi-sweet red produced exclusively in the narrow Kindzmarauli microzone of the Kvareli district, Kakheti. It carries a Georgian Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), meaning only wine grown in this specific valley may bear the name.
Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, this wine from Askaneli Brothers achieves its natural sweetness not from added sugar, but from selected late-harvest grapes with a high natural sugar content that stops fermentation early. The result is a richly coloured wine with blackberry, cherry, and dried plum notes underpinned by soft tannins.
Ingredients
100% Saperavi grape must (Kindzmarauli PDO, Kakheti, Georgia). No sugar added. Contains Sulphites.
Naturally semi-sweet through arrested fermentation — residual sugar approx. 30–40 g/L. Check bottle label for lot-specific details.
