What it is
Kagor is a dark, velvety sweet red wine with deep roots in Russian and Eastern European culture — traditionally served at Orthodox celebrations and festive gatherings. Its name echoes the ancient French Cahors region, though the Russian Kagor has long since become its own distinctive style.
“Pervoprestolniy” — meaning “the First Capital” — is a classic name evoking old Moscow. The Red Crown variant offers a rich, dark ruby colour with flavours of dried fruits, prunes, and warm spice. At 11% ABV in a 0.75 L bottle, it is a graceful choice for dessert or special occasions.
