What it is
Moskovskaya Osobaya is one of the oldest vodka brands in the Eastern European tradition, tracing its recipe to 1894. Today it is distilled by Latvijas Balzams (Amber Beverage Group) in Riga, Latvia, using selected wheat grain and artesian water sourced within the EU.
The 38% ABV is the original Soviet-era strength: slightly softer than modern 40% spirits, lending the vodka its characteristic smoothness on the palate. Triple distillation followed by triple filtration gives a clean, neutral finish — whether served ice-cold neat or mixed.
