Teshchiny Recepty Saffron Milk Caps (Ryzhiki), 530 ml
Bright orange wild rare-find mushrooms — pickled vinegar-free, in true Russian style.
EU-MADE · TESHCHINY RECEPTY · 530 ML JAR
About this product
Ryzhiki (Lactarius deliciosus, saffron milk caps) are the orange-capped wild mushrooms beloved across the Russian and Polish countryside. Their colour stays vivid in the jar, their bite is firm, and the flavour carries a clean pine-forest note that no farmed mushroom can replicate.
"Teshchiny Recepty" — "Mother-in-law's Recipes" — is a European producer of old-style Russian preserves; their ryzhiki are pickled with citric and ascorbic acid rather than vinegar, which keeps the flavour gentle. Drain, dress with sunflower oil and slivered onion, and serve as an honest, traditional cold zakuska.
Ingredients
Saffron milk caps (Lactarius deliciosus), water, salt, sugar, garlic, dill, bay leaf, allspice, citric acid (E330), ascorbic acid (E300).
