What it is
Trifeles — “truffles” in Latvian — are one of Laima’s most enduring chocolates. Each piece is a small, round dark chocolate shell enclosing a smooth cocoa filling, finished with a dusting of cocoa powder. Laima has made them in Riga since the early days of the brand.
The taste is straightforward: dark cocoa, a gentle sweetness, and the slight bitterness that good chocolate earns. Nothing elaborate — just a truffle done well.
