Serbets (Latvian: šerbets) is a traditional confectionery classic — pillowy, aerated fondant sweets studded with roasted peanuts. Made by Laima, Latvia's iconic chocolate and sweet maker based in Riga, these light, slightly crumbly candies bring together a creamy fondant base and the satisfying crunch of whole peanuts.
Laima's šerbets have been a fixture of the Baltic sweet counter for generations, beloved for their delicate sweetness — condensed milk in the recipe gives the fondant a gentle, milky depth. Ideal for serving from a bowl or sharing over tea.
