What it is
Plombirini are a classic Ukrainian sweet named after plombir — the beloved Soviet-era vanilla ice cream. Each candy is a soft, whipped soufflé body with a light creamy-vanilla character, enrobed in a thin chocolate glaze that gives a delicate crunch.
Made by Suvorov confectionery in Ukraine, Plombirini have long been a staple of Eastern European sweet shops. The combination of airy filling and chocolate shell makes them easy to share — and difficult to stop at one.
