What it is
Rakia is the distilled grape spirit at the heart of Bulgarian hospitality — poured at celebrations, shared at gatherings, savoured slowly. Straldjanska Muscat is made from specially selected Muscat Ottonel and Tamianka grapes grown in the Straldzha region of the Yambol province, long known for the quality of its Muscat harvest.
After distillation, the spirit matures for a minimum of five years in Bulgarian oak casks. The result is a brandy with a rich, layered aroma: elegant muscat flowers, gentle vanilla notes from the wood, and a smooth, long finish.
