Vasilki — Chocolate Fondant Sweets
Tender crème brülée fondant with cashew and cognac notes, enrobed in dark chocolate glaze
RUSSIA · ROT-FRONT · 250g
What it is
Vasilki (Васильки — cornflowers in Russian) are a beloved classic from Moscow’s Rot-Front confectionery, one of Russia’s oldest sweet factories. Each piece is a moulded fondant centre — smooth, melt-in-mouth, with a delicate crème brülée sweetness — enriched with finely ground cashew and a whisper of rum and cognac flavouring, then enrobed in a dark chocolate glaze.
The name and trademark blue wrapper recall the wildflower meadows of the Russian countryside. These are a regular in New Year’s assortment boxes and a perennial favourite wherever sweets are shared.
