Sprats in Oil 190g
Small, smoky, unmistakably Baltic — straight from the can to the table.
BALTIC SEA · CANNED FISH · 190 g
What it is
Sprats in oil are a cornerstone of Baltic and Eastern European pantries — small, tender fish from the Baltic Sea, lightly hot-smoked to a golden colour, then packed in oil and sealed at their peak. The 190 g tin is a practical everyday size: enough for two generous portions on rye bread or a simple starter.
These sprats need nothing beyond bread and butter. Sliced onion, a hard-boiled egg, or a squeeze of lemon are welcome additions, but entirely optional.
Ingredients
Baltic sprats (Sprattus sprattus balticus) (min. 70%), vegetable oil (sunflower), salt.
Typical composition for this product class. Check the printed label on the tin for the exact recipe and any production-batch notes.
