What it is
Fully cooked, hot-smoked chicken wings produced by Nakotne, one of Latvia’s long-standing poultry houses near Jelgava. The wings are seasoned with a spicy rub before going into the smokehouse, where slow-smouldering wood gives the skin its deep amber colour and unmistakable aroma.
No cooking is required — serve them straight from the pack as a snack, warm them briefly in the oven for crisper skin, or pair them with pickles, fresh bread and a cold drink for an effortless platter.
