What it is
Sea cabbage — the common name for laminaria (kelp) — harvested from the cold Pacific waters of Russia’s Far East and marinated in a light dressing of sunflower oil, vinegar, and spices. The result is a ready-to-eat salad that is mild, slightly tangy, and rich in natural iodine. Serve straight from the pack as a side dish or toss into a grain bowl.
