Rye-Wheat Croutons with Red Caviar Flavour
A salty salmon-roe seasoning — the seaside snack-bar classic.
UKRAINE · FLINT · 35 g
What they are
Crunchy little rusks cut from rye-and-wheat bread, double-baked till they snap, then tumbled with a salty seasoning blend that mimics salmon roe and the briny edge of fresh red caviar. Flint is Ukraine's most familiar maker of this beer-snack format.
Tip them into a bowl with cold beer or kvass, or scatter them across a snack board with sour cream, salted herring and rye bread.
Ingredients
Bread (wheat flour 85%, water, rye flour 3%, salt, yeast), sunflower oil, red-caviar seasoning blend 7% (salt, sugar, flavour enhancers E621 / E627 / E631, dry whey, maltodextrin, flavourings (red caviar, salmon), citric acid, natural colour paprika extract, anti-caking silicon dioxide).
