Ptica Divnaya Souffle Chocolates
Butter soufflé in milk chocolate — a Russian classic
RUSSIA · AKKOND · 225 g
What it is
Ptica Divnaya — “Wonderful Bird” — is one of the most recognised names in Russian confectionery. Each piece holds a light, airy butter soufflé centre, blended with condensed milk and set with agar, then enrobed in a smooth milk chocolate glaze.
Made by Akkond, a long-established confectionery factory in Cheboksary, Chuvashia. The soufflé is delicate and melts quickly; the chocolate shell gives it just enough structure to hold together until the first bite.
Ingredients
Butter soufflé (sugar, starch syrup, butter (pasteurised cream), condensed whole milk with sugar (whole milk, skimmed milk, sugar, lactose), egg white, gelling agent: agar, preservative: sorbic acid, flavouring: vanillin); chocolate glaze (sugar, cocoa powder, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cocoa butter equivalent (vegetable oils: palm, shea; emulsifier: soya lecithin), emulsifiers: soya lecithin, E476, flavouring: vanilla).
