Pirozhki with Smoked Meat
Soft yeast-dough hand pies filled with smoked meat and onion
FROZEN · YEAST DOUGH · 200 G
What it is
Pirozhki are a staple of Russian and Ukrainian home baking — small parcels of soft, lightly sweetened yeast dough wrapped around a hearty filling and baked until golden. This version brings together tender smoked meat and gently softened onion, giving the familiar shape a smokier, more savoury character.
Sold frozen and ready to bake or warm through at home, they make an easy lunchbox filler, a quick side for soup, or a snack on their own straight from the oven.
Ingredients
Yeast dough (wheat flour, water, sugar, yeast, salt, vegetable oil) filled with smoked meat and onion.
Bake from frozen at around 180°C for 15–20 minutes, or warm through until piping hot. Exact proportions and any added spices are listed on the pack.
