What it is
Kokosiniai are a long-running favourite from Vilnius-based confectioner Pergalė — small rectangular wafer sweets built from three layers of light, crispy wafer with a shredded coconut cream filling, finished with a thin cocoa glaze. The coconut flavour is subtle and creamy rather than aggressively tropical, making them easy to reach for again and again.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, vegetable fats (fully hydrogenated palm kernel and palm), whey powder (milk), rapeseed oil, low-fat cocoa powder, dried coconut flakes (2.4%), emulsifier (soy lecithins), dough raising agents (sodium carbonates, ammonium carbonates), table salt, flavourings, water.
