What it is
Gaidelis (“little rooster” in Lithuanian) is one of Pergalė’s most beloved classic confections, made in Vilnius since 1969. Crisp, lightly sweetened shortbread biscuits with a hint of cranberry, they come in a generous 200g bag — perfect for snacking or serving alongside tea or coffee.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, sugar, margarine (palm and rapeseed oils, water, emulsifier: soya lecithin), glucose-fructose syrup, dried cranberry pieces (2%), dried cranberries (1.5%), whey powder, sweetened condensed milk, raising agents (sodium carbonate, diphosphates, ammonium carbonates), salt, flavourings, emulsifier: soya lecithin.
