What it is
Ananasiniai are a classic from Pergalė — one of Lithuania's most celebrated confectionery houses. Each sweet is built from three layers of delicately baked crispy wafer, sandwiched with a sweet-sharp freeze-dried pineapple cream, and finished with a thin coating of cocoa glaze.
The result is a light, crunchy bite with a bright tropical note — distinctive among Eastern European chocolate sweets for their wafer texture and fruit-forward flavour. Sold loose by weight at the Vilnius factory; here packed to 200 g for freshness.
Ingredients
Sugar, palm kernel fat and palm fat, wafer sheets and crumbled wafers (wheat flour, water, rapeseed oil, salt, emulsifier: soya lecithins; raising agents: sodium carbonates, ammonium carbonates), fully hydrogenated palm kernel fat and palm fat, low-fat cocoa powder, acidity regulator: lactic acid, emulsifier: soya lecithins, flavourings, freeze-dried pineapple powder (0.02%).
