About this product
Small, whole champignons (button mushrooms) marinated in a balanced brine with vinegar, salt, garlic and a hint of dill — the workhorse mushroom of the Russian cold zakuska table. Mild, neutral, ready for anything.
Drain, dress with sunflower oil and onion, and serve with herring, boiled potatoes and dark bread. They also chop into Olivier and vinaigrette, slide onto skewers with cheese, or top an open-faced sandwich. A jar to keep in the cupboard year-round.
