What it is
Bucuria — "joy" in Romanian — is Moldova's oldest and most celebrated confectionery factory, founded in 1946 in Chișinău. Their Moldova pralines are dome-shaped candies with a filling of roasted peanuts and cocoa, coated in dark chocolate glaze and finished with a light dusting of wafer crumbs. Classic Eastern European sweets with a loyal following across the Moldovan diaspora and beyond.
