What it is

The Migiris BETM-1 is a compact 250 W electric grater built for speed and reliability. It grates up to 80 kg of potatoes or vegetables per hour, making it ideal for batch cooking — from latkes and cepelinai to pancake batter and vegetable pies. Made in Lithuania by a manufacturer specialising in kitchen appliances for Eastern European cooking traditions, it handles the repetitive prep work that would otherwise take up your entire afternoon.

How to use

Assemble the grating drum with your chosen blade set, secure the lid, and plug in. Feed peeled potatoes or vegetables through the hopper — the motor does the rest. The design minimises drips and clogs. After use, disassemble and rinse the blades and drum under running water; the housing wipes clean with a damp cloth.
