Melniza White Beans 500g

A pantry staple with real nutritional depth

EASTERN EUROPE   ·   MELNIZA   ·   500G

What it is

Dried white beans (haricot-type) — the everyday legume of Eastern European kitchens. Their mild, creamy flavour makes them one of the most adaptable ingredients in the store cupboard: equally at home in a slow-simmered soup, a thick bean stew, or a cold salad dressed with oil and herbs.

Soak overnight in cold water, then boil for 60–90 minutes until tender. The cooked beans hold their shape well without turning to mush, which makes them ideal for recipes where appearance matters as much as taste.
