A small round souvenir with a very familiar face.

What it is

A round fridge magnet with a printed picture of a matryoshka, the Russian nesting doll, in a red headscarf and holding a bouquet of sunflowers and wild flowers. Bright folk-style flowers and gold scrollwork frame her against a deep blue background.

It is a flat picture magnet rather than a 3D figure, with a glossy, gently domed face. At 3.5 cm across it is small enough to tuck into a card or a parcel, and it makes an easy little present for anyone who grew up with these dolls.
