What it is
Starokievsky is a traditional Ukrainian bread kvass made by Obolon, one of Kyiv's oldest and most respected beverage producers. This is live-fermentation kvass — not pasteurised, not artificially flavoured — brewed from barley and rye malt to give a naturally cloudy, pleasantly tart drink with a genuine malty character.
Best served cold. Drink on its own or use as the base for a classic okroshka.
Ingredients
Water, barley malt, rye malt, kvass wort concentrate, sugar, yeast.
Natural recipe — no artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives. Check bottle label for the most current ingredient declaration.
