What it is
Kaimiški — "rustic" in Lithuanian — are Javine’s take on the classic Eastern European bagel ring. Briefly boiled then oven-baked, these 300 g loops come out tender in the centre and lightly chewy on the outside. Plain and unfussy, they work as a bread roll substitute, a snack with butter and cheese, or a base for open sandwiches.
