Peanut Halva ~500g
Rich, crumbly Eastern European confection — sold fresh-cut by weight
EASTERN EUROPE · PEANUT HALVA · ~500g
What it is
Halva is one of the oldest confections in the Eastern European and Middle Eastern traditions. This peanut version is made from roasted ground peanuts whipped with a sugar syrup into the characteristic layered, crumbly texture halva lovers know. Sold by approximate weight, cut fresh from a larger block.
Peanut halva has a deeper, more pronounced nuttiness than classic sunflower halva, with a satisfying richness that makes it one of the most popular varieties across the CIS region.
