The "Посольский" (Ambassador) recipe is one of the most storied servelat styles in Eastern European charcuterie — originally developed as a premium, high-grade sausage distinguished by its mild, well-balanced spice profile and a high proportion of lean pork and beef. Germes, a Latvian producer, brings it to market as the "Diplomat".

Hot-smoked to a glossy, firm exterior with a tender interior, it slices cleanly and carries a gentle smoky aroma. A workhorse of the cold-cut spread — equally at home on a rye sandwich, a charcuterie board, or eaten straight from the pack with a sharp knife.
