What it is
Stavrida — Atlantic horse mackerel (Trachurus trachurus) — is a firm, flavourful sea fish with a pleasantly saline bite. Beer Club's dried-and-salted version is lightly cured and slow-dried to produce a chewy, intensely savoury snack that pairs naturally with cold beer or a glass of kvass.
