What it is
Spilva is Latvia’s long-running sauce house, and their garlic mayonnaise is the version that lives next to pretty much every kitchen tap in the country. Rapeseed-oil base, real egg, fresh-smelling garlic, a touch of mustard — thick enough to hold a peak on a spoon.
Use as a dip for hot fried potatoes or grilled vegetables, spread on a rye sandwich under a slice of ham, fold into a meat-salad base, or thin with a splash of warm water for an instant garlic dressing.

Rapeseed oil, water, egg and egg-yolk powder (contains maltodextrin), skimmed-milk powder, sugar, salt, garlic, acidity regulators (acetic acid, citric acid), preservative potassium sorbate, mustard seed flavouring, colour (beta-carotene).
