Easter Cake Kulich — 300 g
The soft, golden-domed sweet bread of the Orthodox Easter table
EASTERN EUROPE · TRADITIONAL RECIPE · 300 G
What it is
Kulich is the centrepiece of the Orthodox Easter feast — an enriched sweet bread made with butter, eggs, and milk, studded with raisins and crowned with white vanilla icing. Tall and fragrant, it is traditionally blessed at church on Holy Saturday night before being shared with family.
This 300 g kulich brings that tradition to your table: a soft, brioche-like crumb with a hint of vanilla and the gentle sweetness that sets it apart from everyday bread.
Slice after the Easter blessing. Wonderful with fresh cheese, butter, or a glass of sweet tea. Delicious toasted the next day.
Pillowy and rich, with a fine, tender crumb. The vanilla glaze adds a light sweetness to every golden slice.
