What it is
Kulich is the Easter sweet bread of Eastern European tradition — a tall, domed celebration cake baked to mark the end of Lent. This mini kulich from Latvijas Maiznieks, one of Latvia's longest-established bakeries, is made without yeast: a light, airy muffin-style batter generously filled with raisins, topped with sweet sugar glaze and colourful sugar crystals.
