What it is

A classic Eastern European boiled sausage made to the Daktariska tradition — smooth, mild paste of pork and beef with visible pieces of pork fat folded in. The fat gives each slice a richer, more satisfying bite than a standard doctor's sausage.

Ready to eat: slice and serve with rye bread, or pan-fry briefly to lightly brown the cut face. Pairs well with sharp mustard and pickled vegetables.
