LITHUANIA   ·   DAUPARU ZUVIS   ·   ±250 g

What it is

A whole flounder, salted and air-dried by Dauparu Žuvis — a Lithuanian producer known across the Baltic for quality dried fish. Flounder is a lean, firm flatfish from cold Baltic and North Sea waters, with a mild, clean flavour that deepens during drying.

Traditionally served torn by hand alongside cold beer, or laid out as part of a spread of dried fish. No preparation needed — just salt, fish, and time.

Would not recommend. The fish almost broke my knife trying to cut it because it was so hard and over-dried. The inside was red, crumbly and very bitter to a point that i had to bin the full bag.
