What it is
Sweet, twice-baked bread rusks in the Kyiv tradition. Made from enriched wheat dough with raisins baked in, then sliced and slowly dried until perfectly crisp. Good with tea or coffee, or eaten on their own as a snack — they hold their texture well and keep for weeks. A reliable standby in Eastern European kitchens.
