What it is
Corn groats are coarsely milled dried maize kernels — a kitchen staple across Ukraine, Moldova, and much of Eastern Europe. They cook into a thick, golden porridge known as mamalyga, served with butter and soured cream or alongside slow-braised meats.
At 800 g, this pack gives enough for several generous servings. The groats cook in around 20–25 minutes, absorb plenty of liquid, and hold their texture well — equally at home in a standalone porridge bowl or stirred into soups and stews.
