What it is
Oreshki — «little nuts» — are a beloved Soviet-era shortbread confection pressed into walnut-shaped moulds and baked until golden. This version is sold without filling: just the crisp, lightly sweet biscuit shell on its own. Light and satisfying, they pair well with tea or coffee, and work equally well as a base for a homemade dulce de leche assembly.
