What it is

Smecta is a natural clay-mineral intestinal adsorbent based on diosmectite, widely used across Europe for relief of acute and chronic diarrhoea and associated digestive discomfort. It works by coating the intestinal lining to protect it and absorb irritants, without entering the bloodstream. Each sachet contains 3 g of diosmectite powder — a single adult dose, ready to dissolve in water or mix into soft food.

How to use

Empty the contents of one sachet into half a glass of water (100–150 ml), stir well, and drink. Can also be mixed into semi-liquid food such as porridge or puréed fruit. Follow the dosage instructions on the packaging or as directed by a healthcare professional.
