What it is
Mežpils Tradicionālais is a classic Latvian lager from Aldaris, Riga's oldest and most celebrated brewery. The name refers to the historic Mežpils estate, where the recipe was first crafted in 1906 to mark the European Brewers Congress held in Latvia.
Poured into a glass it shows a clear amber-gold colour with a bright white head. The flavour is grounded in honest hoppy bitterness, balanced by a gentle caramel note from the malt — a profile built on real character over bland uniformity.
