What it is
Aldaris Gaišais — the name translates simply as pale in Latvian — is the flagship lager from Aldaris, Latvia's leading brewery based in Riga. Established in 1865, Aldaris is one of the oldest continuously operating breweries in the Baltic states and is now part of the Carlsberg Group.
Brewed to an original wort extract of 11.2%, this balanced lager delivers a clean malt base with a subtle hoppy bitterness. Hops are added twice during brewing, giving the beer its characteristic fresh aroma. Best served chilled at 4–6°C alongside grilled meats, salty snacks, or simply on its own.
