What it is

A 350 g assortment from Azov Confectionery Factory, one of Russia's best-known producers of traditional sweets. Each piece is individually wrapped. The box contains four varieties: glazed sunflower halva, glazed peanut halva, glazed sunflower kozinaki, and glazed sesame kozinaki. The confectionery glaze wraps the soft, crumbly halva and the crunchy caramel-and-seed kozinaki — two distinct textures in every handful.

Ingredients

Sunflower halva: sunflower seed paste, confectionery glaze (sugar, lauric-type non-tempering cocoa butter substitute, cocoa powder, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier: soya lecithin (E322), vanillin flavouring), glucose syrup, sugar, foaming agent: liquorice root extract, vanillin flavouring. Peanut halva: peanut paste, confectionery glaze (as above), glucose syrup, sugar, foaming agent: liquorice root extract, vanillin flavouring. Sunflower kozinaki: sunflower seeds, sugar, glucose syrup, confectionery glaze (as above). Sesame kozinaki: sesame seeds, sugar, glucose syrup, confectionery glaze (as above).
