Soapta Calugarului — literally “Monk's Whisper” — is a red table wine from Crama Ceptura, a winery in Romania's celebrated Dealu Mare appellation. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this Demidulce (medium-sweet) style achieves a gentle residual sweetness balanced by the region's warm, continental climate.
Deep ruby in colour with aromas of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and a trace of violet. On the palate it is soft and velvety, with a pleasant fruit-forward character and a smooth finish.
