Kindzmarauli Suliko — Georgian Semi-Sweet Red Wine
From the ancient vineyards of Kakheti, a wine that balances depth with natural sweetness
GEORGIA · SULIKO · 750 ml
What it is
Kindzmarauli is one of Georgia's most celebrated red wines — a naturally semi-sweet wine produced exclusively in the Kindzmarauli microzone of the Kvareli district in Kakheti. It is made from the Saperavi grape, a thick-skinned, deeply pigmented variety that gives the wine its characteristic dark ruby colour and bold fruit character.
The wine's sweetness is natural, achieved by halting fermentation before all grape sugars convert to alcohol. This preserves the grape's inherent richness, delivering a smooth, velvety texture with no artificial sweetening. The result is an approachable wine that offers genuine Georgian winemaking tradition.
Ingredients
Saperavi grape must (100%), sulphur dioxide (preservative).
Naturally semi-sweet — residual sugars from the Saperavi grape, not added sugar. Typical for this style; check the label on your bottle for exact figures.
